Sydney airport and all is well

Hey all,
It's Kermit the Frog reporting here live from Sydney International Airport. We arrived an hour early - note to self - one should arrive three hours before departing an International Airport in Australia, not the four hours needed ex New Zealand airports.

Spent the night at Anna O's stunning apartment in Sydney. Amazing views, very poshe - kind of like my apartment in Durham St North if anyone remembers that? Hell, I don't even know who reads this. Anna O, I know you'll read it at some point, and thanks so very much for letting us stay. Walked around Sydney yesterday, Paddy's Markets are still insane. Tried that crazy bubble tea in Chinatown. Honeydew Melon flavoured milkshake with gelatinous globules - a bit strange, and had a crisis of conscience regarding the gelatine, and didn't suck the balls up with my straw.

Dinner and dessert at Anna's work - European food (Ben and Hayley had steak, hilariously Ben still avows he wants to "do the vegetarian thing" - I'm not even sure what that means)...

Hayley apparently tells Mark all who tells Anna O'Donnell all, so I have no secrets, ever. Including recent indiscretions - hey, I'm young, cute (or at least, little) and travelling, why shouldn't I have some fun...

Fun may have taken an angst-ridden twist of late. Whereas perhaps previously my time in Brisbane was just fun with boys and girls; girls and boys, I may actually have stumbled upon something sweet, wholesome, beautiful and true. All fun and games until someone breaks their heart... However the six beautiful stolen hours sleep last night, the two hours the night previous have lead to a very relaxed, meditative state of mind. I really have only had one full eight hours of uninterrupted sleep in the last six weeks.

Ben and Hayley are carting a guitar around - they hope to be able to check it in on the plane in a few hours. Apparently if the crew won't let it on as hand luggage it will be sent down a shoot.

Onwards to breakfast and more airport fun, I really do like these surreal buildings full of travellers, families, business people, confusion and heartfelt greetings.

I suspect I will miss Australia.

Falling, falling, falling...
